Community State Bank has opened a new office at 300 North Main Street in downtown Kewanee.  The new bank opened on June 18th, 2007, and provides inside lobby banking, two drive through lanes and a drive up ATM for the convenience of our customers and for people shopping and traveling through the downtown area.  This is a big investment in Kewanee that shows our commitment to all of Kewanee and the surrounding communities we serve.  This gives CSB two offices in Kewanee, and a total of five.  

Community State Bank officially acquired Citizens National Bank’s Galva location October 24th, 2006.  Customers of Citizens National Bank can be assured that the bank will remain open and continue to be staffed by Sue Crabtree and Carol Dobbels.  Community State Bank, under the leadership of President Kevin Yepsen and his staff, has expanded the Bank’s operations in recent years.   The Bank now has two banking offices in Galva, plus Kewanee and Neponset.  Yepsen said, “The Directors of Community State Bank have always wanted a downtown location and now we will be able to serve out new customers as well as current customers from any of our locations.”  This acquisition gives CSB both of the Drive-up ATM’s in Galva.  CSB also has ATM’s at the Galva Food Pride and at the Village Smithy in Bishop Hill.  In addition to the banking offices, Community State Bank also has an Insurance Division and a Mortgage Division. CSB Investment Services which offers securities, insurance products and advisory services through Investment Centers of America, is also located at Community State Bank.
